29th and 30th November 2008
I met Cass around 5pm and stayed over at Darlene's. We went to Tampines Safra to look for a job. When we got back, we watched College Road Trip and half of Mohabatein. Then Ian came and we crapped the whole night until 6am. And slept till 9am plus. Woke up and Cass and i cabbed down to church. Met Shannon and his family and John for mass. Oh we colour coordinated again! Shannon and i were in blue and white and Cass was in white. =D After mass, i accompanied Cass till her parents came and Shannon left. At home, my cousin Xavier, was helping us to paint our living room. Thanks! =)

Cass and i met at 8am outside OCBC and had breakfast at Mac. Then Bingei and Shannon came and we took a bus to Harbourfront to meet Nessa at 10am. But we were a few minutes late cause the bus ride was really long. We nearly got kicked out cause we were all high and were making a lot of noise. The bus driver shouted at us and was like ''Public bus ah! Public bus!''. Haha. We all colour coordinated. Shannon and i were in black while Cass, Bingei and Nessa were in white. Its always the case! We always colour coordinate which is a good thing cause it shows how our minds think alike and how meant to be we are for each other. =D When we got to Sentosa, we ate, took lotsa pictures and played games like Chop Chilli Chop Chilli Chop Chop Chop, Cassies animal game and something else. Then we played with the sand. We burried Cass and then we played soccer and played in the water. It was all very fun. They brought me deep into the water when i was afraid. Thanks guys. Then we washed up and left the place around 630pm. The rest left while Cass and i had dinner at Superdog. Then Cass met Ian while i went to meet NC and Para. We went up the hill beside my house and talked and talked till 1130pm. Then i went home.

Cass and i went to eunos mrt for some job thingy but the guy didnt come. So we went to Orchard to find for a job. Then we met NC and Para and went to Yishun Mac for dinner. Then Azri came. But Cass and i had to leave to buy the food for Sentosa the next day.
26 Nov 08I met Shannon and Cass under block. Gave them the gifts and told them the Cambodia stories. Then we went for breakfast at Syed and went over to Shannon's house. Then he left for work and Cass and i went to orchard to get brendan's pills.
16-25 Nov - CambodiaOkay...when i was at the airport, i was really feeling sick and didnt want to go but i didnt have much of a choice. We are an hour ahead of Cambodia and the plane is only about 1hour 45 mins long. The weather there is somewhat like Singapore with a lot more wind and the people are all really humble and friendly! The food was bad though. I didnt enjoy it. It was mostly pork and beef.On the first day, we just toured around the Angkor Wat Temples. Thats where Angelina Jolie went to shoot Tomb Raider. I bought a painting of the temple. That night, we slept at the hotel in the city. My room mate was the teacher, Ms Ajmoon, cause i wasnt feeling well so the other teachers wanted her to take care of me.The second day, we visited an orphanage. The children there are sooo adorable! You know...while i was carrying a child on my left and leaning against this table...a child standing on the table jumped onto my back and another one clung onto my right leg. Haha they were so much fun to play with! And they are soo different from Singaporean children. Then we went to the BBLC(Boys brigade learning centre) site at the village, Siem Reap. The BBLC is like a free english tuition place for kids who cant afford school or kids who can go to. I built roads in the morning and taught english in the afternoon. The morning kids are like 6-14 years old. The afternoon kids are 15-20 years old. I made a lot of friends! And that night when we had dinner, there were sooo many flies so we switched off the light. My friend Charles, he used the torch to see what he was eating and we found out that we've been eating flies...they were all over our food. Hahahaha. Oh BBLC is in the village and thus we slept in the village also. Umm 10 of us squeezed in 1 room.The third day, the same things happened. I built roads in the morning and taught in the afternoon. The only difference was that there were more flies. This time, enough to make my whole body! Oh! The insects there are HUGE! The millipede, grasshopper and geko(lizard) are like the full size of a plate. But i prefer bigger insects to smaller ones. I dont feel soo scared when i see them. I slowly got better by the third day. The second night at the village was when we experienced stuff. The generator gets shut down at 10pm. So theres no more light and the dog will start to howl. They have their own dog at BBLC by the way. Its name is toffee. Its really cute. Yeah so the first night, my teacher heard someone trying to bang open the door. My friend heard breaths beside her when it was only a wall and it played with my friends feet. Another teacher also heard stuff. Im not sure what exactly.The fourth and fifth day, the same things happened.The sixth day, there were no road building activity cause it was completed...our names are on the road!!! And there were also no lessons cause my group had to put up a performance. We danced and sang for the kids and they enjoyed it. That night, i woke up and saw a black figure walking up and down really really fast. But it wasnt any one from my room. No one was in black. And then around 4am plus, my friends and i heard a child crying inside the room.The seventh day, we went to pouk high school. Its the government school my students at BBLC go to. We met them there are they showed us around. We also went to the silk farm to see how silk is made. I ate one of the silk worms. Haha...they fry it and said its like a snack there. So i tasted it. Not everyone did. But it tasted a lot like over cooked toufu. When we were taking the bus from the village, the students at BBLC, came over to send us off. A few of them cried cause we were all really attached to each other. Then we went shopping in Siem Reap. Haha we all went crazy! It was my first time bargaining and it was fun. Hehe.The eighth day, we took a 6 hour bus ride over to Penom Penh(the city). Haha that day, my friends and i all happened to wear red together. Once we reached Penom Penh, we went shopping again. And we slept in another hotel. I was still Ms Ajmoon's room mate. And you know what? IT followed us back to the hotel. Cause in the night, when Ms Ajmoon was asleep, i heard someone playing with the water in the toilet. The nineth day, we went to a dumpsite. You know..people actually live there and theres a kindergarten there. We visited those kids. And once again, they were such a bundle of joy! They taught me 2 new Cambodian games and they took both my hands and started stuffing rings into them. In total, i collected 18 rings. Then we went to the killing field that took place in 1960 during the Cambodian war. It was so recent and sad. They built a 7 floor glass high memorial thingy with all the skulls of the people stacked up there. They also had the clothes of those people in there. They washed it with deodorant. The smell of blood was still in the air and teeth was lying everywhere on the ground. The holes that the soldiers dug to kill the people in were still there too. Then we went to the museum...it was a school but during the war, the soldiers made it a prison. They used bricks and cement to make 10 smaller rooms in that 1 classroom and the people were chained on their legs. They showed us how these people got tortured. A lot of the people there felt very disturbed, they had to wait for us outside the building. Then we went shopping again. On the last day, neither of us wanted to leave. Cause going back to Spore is like getting back to reality which none of us favoured. Nothing much happened. Daddy picked me up and yeah thats about it.The day i got back, i met up with Kumari to get her 21st birthday invitation card and NC to watch REC. It not in english but its bloody gross and scary. Its by far the first ever movie i screamed to. And NC freaked me out after the movie. He made up stories about the lift and the stairs. So i made him send me all the way back to my floor. Hahaha.
